Below we publish information about products subject to safety notices, proceedings conducted by the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), or product recall decisions.
RACEL travel adapter
VERK GROUP SIKORSKI SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA, with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that, according to a notification received from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and on the basis of information provided through the European Safety Gate system, the product: RACEL travel adapter, model: “Art.-Nr: 12174”, barcode: 5907451317969, has been identified as a product posing a serious risk to users' health. Laboratory tests revealed an incorrect product design, as it is possible to connect a “Schuko” class plug to a Class II socket and to connect the plug to the device in such a way that its pins (live parts) become accessible to the user. The identified irregularities pose a serious risk of electric shock.
LED bicycle light set
VERK GROUP SIKORSKI SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA, with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that, according to a notification received from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and on the basis of information provided through the European Safety Gate system, the product: LED bicycle light set, model: “14280_CZ”, barcode: 5907451360576, has been identified as a product posing a serious risk to users' health. Laboratory tests showed that the lead content in the soldered components of the product exceeded the permitted level, amounting to 68.9% in the LED bicycle light set (model “14280_CZ”). The permitted lead limit in components of electrical and electronic equipment is 0.1%. This infringes the requirements set out in §4(1)(1)(a) of the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance of 21 December 2016 on essential requirements concerning the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, and poses a serious risk to the environment.
Survival kit
VERK GROUP SIKORSKI SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA, with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that, according to a notification received from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and on the basis of information provided through the European Safety Gate system, the product: survival kit, model: “14382”, barcode: 5907451337547, has been identified as a product posing a serious risk to users' health. Laboratory tests showed that the lead content in the soldered components exceeded the permitted level, amounting to 84% in the flashlight included in the Survival Kit. The permitted lead limit in components of electrical and electronic equipment is 0.1%. This infringes the requirements set out in §4(1)(1)(a) of the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance of 21 December 2016 on essential requirements concerning the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, and poses a serious risk to the environment. In addition, the plastic case of the multifunction tool included in the Survival Kit (model: “14382”) was found to contain an excessive amount of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), namely 13.7%, compared with the permitted limit of 0.1%, which does not comply with the requirements of entry 51 of Annex XVII to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 of the European Parliament and of the Council (REACH). The case poses a serious chemical risk to users.
Waterproof case
VERK GROUP SIKORSKI SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA, with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that, according to a notification received from the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) and on the basis of information provided through the European Safety Gate system, the product: Waterproof Case, EAN code 5907451302019, has been identified as a product posing a serious risk to users' health. Laboratory tests found that the material used in the product contains an excessive amount of bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), at 13% by weight, which significantly exceeds the maximum permitted value of 0.1% under the REACH Regulation. This substance may have harmful effects on the reproductive system, making the product non-compliant with the safety requirements applicable in the European Union. Consequently, the product has been made subject to an immediate recall from the market.
LED dog collar light
Verk Group Sikorski Sp.K., with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that the product: LED dog collar light, model: 19310, EAN code: 5907451333006, does not meet the requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance of 21 December 2016 on essential requirements concerning the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, due to the presence of lead in amounts exceeding the permitted concentration by weight. This poses a risk to the safety and health of users and to the environment by causing pollution. This notice is published in connection with proceedings conducted before the President of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

VERK GROUP SIKORSKI SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA, with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that the product: electric mug warmer 24308, EAN code: 5907451340004, does not meet the requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance of 21 December 2016 on essential requirements concerning the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, due to the presence of lead, cadmium and bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) in amounts exceeding the permitted concentration by weight. This poses a risk to the safety and health of users and to the environment by causing pollution. This notice is published in connection with proceedings conducted before the President of the Polish Office of Competition and Consumer Protection.

Verk Group Sikorski Sp. K., with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that the instant water heater, product No. 24314, EAN: 5907451340202, batch No.: 30092024, has been withdrawn from the market due to an identified manufacturing defect that may pose a risk to users.

K., with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that the product: massage pen, model: GLF-209, No. 15824, EAN: 5907451319185, does not meet the requirements set out in the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance of 21 December 2016 on essential requirements concerning the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, due to the presence of lead in an amount exceeding the permitted concentration by weight, which poses a risk to human health and the environment. Massage balls
Verk Group Sikorski Sp.K., with its registered office in Podolszyn Nowy, informs that the product: massage balls 24113, EAN code 590745133509, does not meet the requirements of the Regulation of the Minister of Development and Finance of 21 December 2016 on essential requirements concerning the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, due to significantly excessive levels of lead and bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP). In addition, the product was found to contain an excessive amount of short-chain chlorinated paraffins (SCCPs). The product poses a serious risk to the environment, while prolonged skin contact with SCCPs increases the risk of developing cancer.
