Personal data and privacy policy

The controller of the personal data of Store Customers is Verk Group.

In matters related to the protection of personal data, the Customer may contact our Data Protection Officer by writing to: zamowienia@verk.sklep.pl.

The provision of personal data by Website Users is voluntary. Customers' personal data will be processed for purposes related to registration in the Store and, where appropriate consent has been given, for the marketing of our products and services and participation in the Newsletter service. In the case of purchasing goods, personal data will be processed for the proper performance of the contract for the sale of our products, as well as for their shipment. Failure to provide personal data necessary to conclude a sales contract will result in refusal to conclude such a contract.

The legal basis for processing personal data in connection with Customer registration in the Online Store, the marketing of products and services, and participation in the Newsletter service is the consent given, whereas in the case of purchasing goods, the processing of data is necessary for the performance of the contract.

Personal data will be stored until the Customer withdraws their consent or for a maximum period of 5 years from the date the order is completed.

Personal data will be disclosed to companies providing Verk Group with IT, legal and marketing services, as well as to companies responsible for the delivery of goods. We will not transfer Customers' personal data to third countries.

Each Customer has the right to request access to their personal data from Verk Group, as well as its rectification (correction), portability and deletion, and the right to restrict the processing of their data. In connection with our processing of personal data, the Customer has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

We will not make automated decisions, including decisions resulting from profiling, based on Customers' personal data.

The User has the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data processed on the basis of consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.

Verk Group uses cookies, i.e. small text and numeric files that are saved by the IT system on the User's device (computer, phone or other device used to connect to the Website) while browsing the Website, including the Online Store pages. Cookies make it possible to identify the User at a later time when they reconnect to the Website from the device (e.g. computer or phone) on which the cookies were stored.

Cookies collect data concerning the User's use of the Website, including the Online Store pages. Their main purpose is to make it easier for the User to use the Website, adapt the Website pages to the needs and expectations of a particular User (personalisation of Website pages), and analyse User traffic within the Website.

Cookies are used on the Website with the User's consent. Consent may be given by the User through the appropriate settings of the software, in particular the web browser installed on the telecommunications device used by the User to browse the Website.

The Website User may also restrict or disable cookies in their browser at any time by configuring the browser to block cookies or warn the User before a cookie is stored on the device used to browse the Website. In such a case, however, the use of the Website, including the “Online Store” section, may be less efficient, the User may not have access to certain content and, in extreme cases, the correct display of Website pages, including the “Online Store” section, may be completely prevented.
